Harry was an Idaho original. I shared lunches at the Arid Club, but the best times were in Long Valley. His land abutted our cabin and every once in a while some cattle would breach the fences. I'd call the ranch expecting a cow hand to come out, but usually it was Harry himself in his dusty pickup and his horse trailer.
