I met Harry when he was in downtown Dallas and later met his son, Lawrence (Larry), who I dealt with when he was working at the Preston Center location. Later, after he retired, I occasionally visited the store in the Galleria.

Dear Elaine, Stephen, Lawrence and David,

We are deeply saddened by the passing of our founder, Harry Bock. He was such a unique and special person. It was a pleasure to work for him for so many years. We look forward to his legacy continuing for many years to come. He will be greatly missed, but never forgotten. Our thoughts are with the entire Bock family.

Susan and I want to give you our condolences. Harry was such a great person/personality. He shared his thoughts openly with all. Harry and his memory will live on in all of us who's lives he touched.

I'll never forget the first time I met Harry. I was a very inexperienced diamond salesman, on my first road trip trying to convince him that he was making a mistake by passing up on the deal I was offering him... You can imagine that went over well with Harry!
Harry is a legend and a giant in the business. I always enjoyed talking to him, he will be missed.
