Not sure what to say?

Ken was my football coach at Courtland. My junior year we won the state championship with one of the best football teams in high school history (my opinion). With the likes of Charles Anderson, Frankie, Almond and others, the team could not be stopped. You got to see the vision of the coach unfold as he built a dominate force on the field. He was tough and worked us hard. He was leader and we would have followed him anywhere much like the troops following a general into battle. He taught us...

I never remember life without knowing about the Browns. Mrs Brown worked in my dad's office & Mr. Brown was my principal at MHS. Kenny cut our grass when he was growing up. I remember the excitement when he & Ethel married & each child was born. Much later in life I met a group of teachers from Spotslvania & asked if they knew him. They all raved about what a wonderful man & educator he was. I was saddened to just see his obituary. I know, Grace Anne & Johnny, that you will miss your...

My dad and mom were friends with Ken and Ethel from the early days in Gloucester County. I remember going to Ken and Ethel's house to visit Debbie and Keith. We were just little kids. Phil and Ken remained very close friends thoughout their coaching careers. I played in a JV game against Spotsylvania once when Ken was the Head Coach and also coached against when he was at Courtland when I was a young assistant at Stafford HS. What a wonderful man and family! Good bless you all!!

My heart goes out to you. What a beautiful man and uncle he was.

To Ethel and family- We were sad to hear of Kens passing and will keep you in our thoughts and prayers. With love, Dick and Jo Shenal
