Rest in Peace Uncle Harry

Dear Diane, Karen, Kristi, and Kurt, I was so sorry to hear about Harry's passing. I worked for him in the early-to-mid 1970s and always liked and respected him for his dedication to the public's recreational needs. Besides running a top-notch organization, he was also a really nice guy.
I know he'll be greatly missed.
You have my deepest sympathy.

Dear Diane I will continue to pray for you and your family, may God Bless you all and give you comfort at this time. I had the pleasure of meeting and working with your husband on many recreation programs, and it was a pleasure meeting you. Geraldine Jackson, "Fellow" Hall of Fame Inductee. He will be missed by many!

Kristi, Kurt, and Karen,

We didn't know your father, but had the pleasure of hearing many wonderful stories about him. Our condolences to you and your families.

Diane - I am sorry to hear of Harry's passing. I've always enjoyed the conversations Harry and I would have while scheduling service calls, or just chit-chatting about life. He has always been one of my favorite customers to work with, and I will miss him.

Diane,
Sorry to hear about Harry. You have our sympathy.

I was a member of the GR Parks & Recreation Board for seven years during Harry's tenure. He did so much to upgrade the programs and facilities including the building of the Belknap Ice Arena. GR recreation opportunities flourished despite its modest funding. He was a true professional and upon his retirement being a board member was never the same. He was a true professional liked and respected. Condolences and prayers for the family.

Diane, Kurt, Karen, Kristi I am sorry to learn of Harry's passing, but Alzheimer's is a terrible disease. I was privileged to work for Mr. Burns, especially at a time when so many people, adults and youth were involved in recreational activities. He constantly advocated for city leaders to recognize the value of recreation and parks. He was a leader among state recreation professionals. He encouraged his employees to make a difference by becoming involved in the local, state and national...
