I met Judge Carrico in 1945- - my first year of teaching. At that time 3 of us lived on Cedar Lane with Mrs. Virgie Henderson Ritchie.(who knew Harry)
We passed his home on our walks into "town" He was out riding his bike or walking on that narrow little road & would stop to visit, always friendly, even then showing the qualities that made him the admirable gentleman. I am so fortunate to have known him. With prayers and sympathy,

My deepest sympathy to all the family, especially Cretia who I knew from the time I was a very small child. Harry and Betty Lou were our neighbors across the street in Fairfax VA. I have so many memories of he and Betty Lou and all they did for us. I vividly remember that when my mother died I called Harry and he dropped everything and came up from Richmond to attend my mother's funeral. That was the kind of man he was all his life. I will remember him with much love. My prayers to all the family.

My condolences to the family of Justice Harry L. Carrico. I was very fortunate to have known him personally, having worked for him for several years in the past. He also performed my wedding ceremony back in 1982, for which my husband and I were very honored. He has always been perfection and the epitome of the word "gentleman" to me, and I will miss him.
