That voice - rich and resonant. I remember seeing Harry stuffed into a Volkswagen convertible with fellow KYXI staff members for a TV commercial.

Still miss the big guy and his stories!

It was always a pleasure to speak with Harry, with his affable nature and amused smile. He was the only person I knew in radio news who would use his microphone to listen to tape playback by putting the mic up to his ear (true.)He usually had a chuckle for the absurdities of life. Miss ya, Harry.

A gentle and caring man. I will miss him so much! He was such a loving grandfather and supporter of his grandchildren. I feel blessed to have seen him one last time in April this year. I will always make you proud Grandpa. Love, Nicole.

Haven't seen him for so many years. He taught me all I know about radio news, a great broadcaster and a great guy. RIP Harry.
