Not sure what to say?

I knew Harry Conover in the very early sixties when he was a young student and lived at 1175 Park Avenue. I remember the lavish Halloween party his mother put on for us at a famous business dining club. I wish to extend my belated sympathies to his family. Harry had a younger brother Cary. If anyone knows if he is still alive I would like to communicate with him. My telephone number is, 646 628 0626. my email: [email protected].

I remember conversing with Harry on CompuServe as part of their MAUG forums. I'll miss his wit and knowledge. Condolences to his family.

I'm another one of Harry's CompuServe friends from the MAUG forums. Sorry to hear of his passing last year. Although we hadn't talked in years (decades), I still remember him fondly, and his comments on the Donahue show that David mentioned. I was on stage at the time, being made a fool of. :)

The worst part of getting older is when your friends die...

I knew Harry back in the day of online CompuServe forums. He was always good natured and displayed a wonderful sense of humor. Although we only met in person one time we had hundreds of online interactions. I have always thought of him as a friend and I am sorry to hear of his passing. Please accept my condolences.

This is a very belated note from some old friends of Harry's who hadn't been in contact with him for decades, and therefore were unaware of his passing. We knew Harry from the online forums on CompuServe back in the day...not so much the Sports forum he ran, but the Apple computer forums (MAUG) where he also hung out. Harry was devilishly funny, and both respected and admired by the nascent online community back then.

My very favorite memory of him was in the early 1990s, when...

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I also went to Wagner Junior High School with Harry. He was my first (puppy) love and I will never forget him.

My company competed with Harry's back in the early days of Online fantasy sports. Harry was a good man and always provided a great product. There are many people that enjoy those games and make their living in an industry that Harry was instrumental in starting. I'm happy to have had the pleasure of knowing him and sad that I won't have the opportunity to ever sit down with him and enjoy reminiscing. My sincere condolences to Harry's family and friends.

Harry brought joy to many as a leader of the CompuServe fantasy sports forum. There are many people still playing who started with Harry. He was a great guy who had many friends, online and off. Rest In Peace Harry.

I was in the same class as Harry in JHS 167 (1961-62) in New York. I remember a bright, funny lad who made me smile. I'm glad he had a full life.
