Send FlowersHarry P. Dees, Sr., age 88 of Louann, died November 2, 2006. He was a retired oil field worker having learned many aspects of the oil field industry. He was a World War II Army Veteran. He was a true people person who loved to visit with friends, relatives and strangers.
Mr. Dees is preceded in death by his wife, Ladene Dees; and daughter, Judith Lynn Doren. He is survived by his son, Harry P. Dees, Jr. of Chidester; daughter, Lynda Ramsey of El Dorado; sister, Virginia Crawson of Laguna Park, TX; grandchildren, Dees Davis of Little Rock, Trey Dees of Branson, MO, Charlie Dees of Smackover, Ben Dees of Monticello, and Robert Ramsey of Cabot; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Proctor Funeral Home with burial in Smackover Cemetery. Charles Allen will officiate the service. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the charity of your choice.
