Harry Derrick

Karen and family, My deepest condolences...I worked with Harry for many years and thru many banking mergers. Throughout my career Harry was always, always generous, kind, fair, and good natured. He was truly one of the few really "good guys" throughout it all. He always made his famous chocolate cake for birthdays and other office celebrations. I still have his recipe and make his cake for family celebrations. I will always remember his kindness.

I went to college with Harry and didn’t know him in high school since we were indifferent districts. I also worked with him during summer jobs and played basketball with him in his home’s barn. Although I kind of lost touch with him after attending graduate school and then moving to the West Coast, I always enjoyed seeing him and his wife Karen during vacations to my hometown.
