Harry F. Dickey, Jr., 61, of East Bangor, PA passed away Thursday, December 19th, at the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, AZ. 


Harry was born in Phillipsburg, NJ, on September 17, 1963, the son of the late Harry F. Dickey, Sr., and Doris (Dalrymple) Dickey.


He was the husband of Tina M. (Danner) Dickey. They celebrated their 44th wedding anniversary this past August. Harry was a 1982 graduate of Pen Argyl High School. He was the true definition of a hard-working family man. Harry worked a variety of factory and physical labor jobs for over 40 years.


He was a member of the Dyle E. Bray Veterans Association and enjoyed hunting, fishing, pitching quoits, bowling, and playing darts. Harry also put a lot of dedication, time, and love into being a coach in the community for various baseball, softball, and wrestling teams for over 30 years.


In addition to his wife Tina, Harry is survived by two daughters, Alyssa Koehler, wife of Ryan, and London Hoffman, wife of Corey, a son, Harry F. Dickey III, husband of Colleen, four brothers, John, William, and Ronald Dickey, and Joseph Martinez, and six grandchildren Owen, Colton, Lincoln, Logan, Easton, and Mia. He was predeceased by a son Lane Dickey and a brother Michael Dickey.


Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Gathering from 11 AM to 12:30 PM on Saturday, December 28th, at the Washington Banquet Facility, 920 Washington Blvd., Bangor, PA. A eulogy and a time of sharing will begin at 12:30 PM on Saturday, December 28th, at the banquet facility. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Gaffney Parsons Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., "Village of Johnsonville" Bangor, PA. Online condolences may be offered at gaffneyparsons.com.

Single Tree

One of the Greatest Men to have ever been created, Harry was not only the Dad I wish I had but that Man drug this damaged soul out of depression which started my climb back to being me. Many fond memories from my time spent around Harry and his son Harry. He was and is on my Mt. Rushmore of Fathers. He will be missed by all who were lucky to have been in his company.
