Not sure what to say?

John was on my heart this morning and so I Googled him and landed here. I am sad to learn he has passed on to the next life. John was such a bright spot in a challenging world. He always had a warm smile and cared about everyone. I spent 20 years in and out at his KYCC table (and a few lunches) only but I will never forget his greatness. Rest In Peace and my condolences to his family.

I was so sorry to hear of John´s passing. I knew him for over 30 years and always appreciated his sense of humor and love for his family.

I am sad to hear of John´s passing. I knew him when I worked for the Pima County Attorney´s Victim Witness Program, for which he was a long time, valued volunteer. Hugs and condolences to his family.

I knew John through Kiwanis and enjoyed meeting with him. His jokes were generally terrible, but he had a huge heart, and the Key Club students who know him thought highly of him. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

John was an insightful and dedicated leader to our Kiwanis Young Children´s Council since its inception 25 years ago. He was also a great friend to me and champion to the children of our Tucson community. Rest in well-deserved peace my friend.

You have lost a dear family patriarch and we have lost our "Silver Kiwanian." The children of Tucson and surrounding communities have lost a dedicated advocate and benefactor. We were honored to have John as a member of Kiwanis Club of Tucson for 44 years. He will be dearly missed. May he rest in peace. And to Lieutenant Dunshee: "Fair winds and following seas, my friend." Greg Landers, President for the Kiwanis Club of Tucson
