Not sure what to say?

To the Easterly family,

As a former USGA employee, I would like to extend my heartfelt sympathy. Mr. Easterly will always be remembered by the USGA family and in the world of golf. And, never to be forgotten by all those who knew him, his dedication to VMI was boundless.

Frank-I was saddened to hear of the loss of your Father from two sources. First, some kind comments made during the USGA golf match last weekend, and second from Coach Ed Henry who lives near me. May God bless you, your Mother and your family during this time.
Hugh Hopkins--VMI 1969.

Dear Mary, I was blessed to have begun my business career many years ago working with Harry and the very wonderful , Jim Wheat. I cherish those memories and have benefitted from that experience. Harry had a strong faith, unfettered sense of loyalty and devotion, with an indomitable spirit that will keep him alive forever for me and his many friends. Harry's legacy will continue to live through his children, grandchildren and future descendants. It's said that "everyone dies, not everyone...

Dear Mrs. Easterly,

I was so sorry to hear of your loss. It has been many years since I worked for Harry at the USGA, but have never forgotten him. Harry had a way of making you reach beyond what you thought possible. At 61 I attribute much of the growth I achieved throughout my career to my experiences working with Harry. I know he will be missed by all who were blessed to have known him. My prayers go with you and the family.

Sincerely

Dear Natalie: I was so sorry to hear the sad news about your father. Josie sent me the obit - what a life! I guess we know where you get your love of golf. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. much love, Martha

We have just lost an incredible man; I worked with him for years and he set the standard on what one should aspire to achieve. He afforded me and my family many opportunities; I will miss him terribly. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Dear Mrs. Easterly,

Our father Gus Whitehurst, VMI '44, spoke often of your husband and their closeness thru the years as Brother Rats. We share your sorrow at his death and will be thinking of you in the days to come. Win Whitehurst and Ridge (E. A., Jr.) Whitehurst

Natalie,
So sorry to hear about your Dad. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.
Sue

Frank, We are so sorry to hear of your Father's passing. He must have been a great man, he raised a very good son.
