It was my good fortune to take many of his courses at Tufts, actually, as many as I could, in 1957 and 1958. His ability to explain and his talent to inspire have meant much to me through the years. I have thought fondly about him often in the intervening decades, always admired his intellect and his approach, and offer sincere condolences to his family and friends!
