HARRY GLENN FRUSH, 88, formerly of Guilford Avenue, Hagerstown, Maryland, died Saturday July 10, 2010 at Julia Manor. Born November 1, 1921 in Clear Spring, Maryland, he was the son of the late James Luther and Mary Ellis Frush. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Manspeaker Frush on January 8, 1999. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in World War II with the 21st Engineers in Iceland and the European Theatre of war. He was a retired City Patrolman having served thirty years with the Hagerstown Police Dept. He was also a Bailiff for the District Court of Maryland. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police, Pangborn Lodge #88, Veteran of Foreign Wars Post 1936, Western Maryland Sportsman Club and the South Hagerstown Fire Co. He is survived by one daughter, Glenda Frush of Hagerstown; two sons, James Frush of Hagerstown and Steven Frush of Williamsport, Md.; one sister, Nellie Marie Brown of Pikesville, Md.; one granddaughter and 3 grandsons; and longtime caregiver and companion Irene Baker. He was preceded in death by one sister, Hazel C. Roloson. There will be no viewing or visitation. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 13, at Rose Hill Cemetery. Pastor Ruth Bloom will officiate.
