My name is Eric Gardner.I am Blair Gardners son,Harrys brother. I only met Harry once back in the early 90s,my sister Lisa from Spokane and I went down to vancouver to introduce ourselves,Harry and Pam where very warm and inviting to us.We fell out of touch again and now I am saddened by the news of his passing.Hope all his family is doing fine,regret not staying in touch and getting to know his family better.

I met Harry when he came to work for Crowley in Vancouver, Washington. He was always a pleasure to be around. If he wasn't busy when we were at the dock he would come down and visit with Jay and I. He was known for his great stories. If there was problems with the engines you could always call on him and he would usually solve the problem. Harry is always talked about when we have get togethers. I talked to Harry the latter part of April and we had a nice...

I truly enjoyed getting to know Harry over these years! He and my husband, Louie, worked together at Crowley. It wasn't until his retirement and his move back to Vancouver that I was able to get to know him and we had some great times together! His sense of humor was awesome :) In that respect, he reminded me very much of Louie which is just one of the reasons I loved him so! Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family....it is a tough time but, as Louie has always said, if you always...

My sincere sympathy to Harry's family. His Berney Buddies will miss him. Harry sat behind me in the 6th grade. When we got together, I reminded him that he dunked my pigtails in his ink well. For some reason he did not remember.

I'll miss his limitless supply of jokes. He rarely repeated one and some shouldn't be repeated.
