Not sure what to say?

Just learned of Harry's passing. What an amazing teacher and friend. I give him all the credit for helping me engage with my photography in an emotional way. Still to this day I think about all he taught me. He impacted my art, my writing, my life. He was relentless when it came to pushing me to do better. Be better and never give up. I was so lucky to have had him in my life. Far winds my friend.

Harry Geffert and I grew up neighbors in the Simmons Community of Live Oak County. I considered him one of my closest friends. Time and distance diminished our personal contacts, but I trust not our friendship. I will miss you. old friend

Condolences to those who were close to him: friends and family.
I didn't know him well but visited his studio with Ron Watson's professions class at TCU. When I later visited the Tuileries and saw the investment casting of a whole tree, I remembered that visit, how Harry explained the process, and realised just how much work went into that piece.

My deepest condolences to the family. May the assurance at Psalms 29:11 provide comfort to you at this difficult time.
