TOGETHER AGAIN

Hey Dad, Dew and I made it through an almost category 5 hurricane. I want you to know that I think of you and how well prepared you would have been. It will be wonderful when we all can see you again. Just not yet.

Harry Gergel was born November 30, 1926 and left this world October 6th, 2011.

My main recollection of my father was that he was always working. He lived to work, and he did all of his work with excellence. He would sometimes show me with pride something that he repaired, and oftentimes I had no idea that it was something that even needed to be fixed. He was always working overtime, and he did it because he wanted to give us a better life by buying a home in the suburbs. When I...

I cried when I had to move your tools
and try to figure out what to do with an empty wheelchair
it's hard to see mom had to leave the house you have for 28 years
someday we'll all be together again

My deepest sympathy to Harry's wife, Dot, and his children. I had the pleasure of meeting Harry only once, but I was saddened to learn of his death.
