Not sure what to say?

Harry taught me so much. He had a quick wit. As a young budding interpreter, he taught me to listen, to sit back, interpret and let him shine. And shine he did. He was a great man. He broke down barriers and helped lead the way. He taught me that I was not in social services but in a civil rights movement. God Bless Harry and thanks for all you shared and did in this lifetime. His family always came first.

I knew Harry when he was a VR counselor. I met his wife Ruth and was impressed by what a gracious couple they were. Ruth displayed such wisdom and Harry had a fun sense of humor. They were very welcoming to everyone they met. They are missed.

Dear Harry Goddard's family,

I knew Harry quite well because he was the founder of the Deaf Lions Club 1974 as the Charter Member of the St. Paul Metro Deaf Lions Club. He was the President. He dropped his membership. Then our Deaf Lions Club was disbanded in 1999. He was very active in the church before he moved to Osceola, Wisconsin with his family. He had a wonderful life.
