Gullette, Harry David, age 78, was born in Poplar Bluff, Missouri in 1947 to Leo David and Thelma Alice Laura Gullette (nee Jackson). Harry was a graduate of Poplar Bluff High School and Southeast Missouri State University, where he majored in chemistry. He spent three years in the Army after college. After being discharged, Harry attended University of Missouri-Kansas City to earn his bachelor of pharmacy degree. Harry spent his career as a pharmacist, working for various pharmacies and hospitals, primarily for Walgreen's Pharmacy.
Harry was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Thelma Gullette and is survived by his sister, Nancye (Jim) Dunlap, two nieces, Sharon (Eric) Lenning and Becky (David) Strickland and four great nephews, Alec, Ben, Nathaniel, and Ethan.
Harry enjoyed all kinds of mathematics, running on the Katy Trail, and flying his small plane. He was also an active member of the Sedalia Noonday Optimist Club.
Services: A private family service will be held at Manchester United Methodist Church in Manchester, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, donations to Harry’s Optimist Club at: Sedalia Noonday Optimist Club PO Box 821, Sedalia, MO 65302-0821 or to the American Heart Association would be appreciated.
