Thank you to the Harrison Family for keeping this legacy going. I think of Harry on his birthday which is always on the calendar each year; on the anniversary of 9/11 when it was while listening to Harry's show that I first heard the first jet go into the towers. Then at Christmas with the memory of his "May You Always" and sadly on the anniversary of his passing. He remains in my memory as one of a kind and his voice and smile never fades away. There just was no one else like The Morning...

Loved listening to your radio show every morning on my way into work in the city back in the 80’s, 90’s, and into the early 2000’s. RIP Harry.

Found out about the 9/11 attacks my freshman year of college from the Harry Harrison show. My professor had his show on the radio in our classroom when the first attack got announced. RIP

We had the very best on radio back then and the Morning Mayor was one in a million. Miss you Harry and that's the truth. Radio will never be the same but we have our memories of the great decades of AM and later on FM radio.

Harry was the best. I used to listen to him every morning on CBS-FM for over 23 years, on my way into work from when he started there in 1980 until I retired in 2002. I continued listening to him until he retired himself which I believe was the following year in 2003. CBS-FM was never the same again after he left. A legend. RIP Harry

Once again, thanks to Harry's family for keeping this beautiful reminder of the anniversary of his going home to God and for sharing it with those who cherished our Morning Mayor. During Christmas season I was going thru the many Christmas memories and cards and boxes of ornaments and ribbons for the Christmas tree and decorating for the holidays and I came across a signed copy of "May you Always" and it goes under my tree each year in his memory and as a reminder of all the simple beautiful...

Am so happy this anniversary reminder continues and keeps The Morning Mayor's memory alive. Thank you to Harry's family for this wonderful gift to his friends and fans and all who loved him. This year on AM radio (WABC) they were doing a little thing honoring radio personalities who were well known and loved in the NY area and of course Harry was one they talked about and had cuts from his broadcasts. One person called in and mentioned "May you Always" and what a great reminder of that...

Its so funny that I was only thinking of Harry the other day - he just popped into my head and now to see this reminder of his anniversary. To his dear family and friends; I think Harry is one of those very special people who will live in our hearts and never be forgotten. He made us so happy for all the years he was on the air and even if we never met him in person, over the decades, we went through the good times and not so good times with Harry at the microphone and that all added to how...

Still miss his voice and hopeful positive attitude! Was only thinking recently of how morning radio is so markedly different and has been for many years. Harry lived in the same world we all did with news that was not always good and yet his program focused on bringing out the best in people and played such good music and did this with such a warm caring and happy voice - you could hear the smile in his voice. Where and why has that gone from radio today?
Thank God he is not here to...
