Not sure what to say?

Never heard of him until today (9 Jan 2012) - and I miss him already. I too stumbled upon his blog - I do hope his survivors maintain the blog for many years in his memory.

I stumbled accross Harry's blog by accident. I started reading them and was finding myself feeling like I had known Harry. I have not but when I read about his cancer and his battle to live I felt strong compassion for him. I wish I could have known Harry and could have given him cheerful words and a few get well cards. I read the last blog where he said he was near his time to go so I looked him up on the internet and found his guest book. Harry you are in the hands of our Lord and may you...

Except for several telephone conversations I never met Harry, but I feel deeply indebted to him. He taught me much about shortwave radio communications and the deeper meanings that are sometimes behind them. Very few knew as much about all this as Harry, and no one could tell the story better than he. Harry, thanks for the memories. They are priceless.

Harry and I graduated from Fort Mill High in 1970. Although I did not keep in contact with Harry over the years, I reconnected with him back in May, 2009 through Hugh McCallum. I thoroughly enjoyed reading his blog... Harry did not want anyone to feel sorry for him and in his last e-mail to me he wrote: "Please don't feel sorry for me; instead, feel sorry for those who have never had the chance to see, do, visit, and experience the things and places I have. Di is taking great care of me,...

Harry has been a great inspiration to me over about 20 years in the publishing field with LLH Technology Publishing. He didn't have to help me, and give advice, be he did and willingly. He has been a great mentor and will be sorely missed. I can't get him out of my mind, and will always remember his great sense of humor. I love Harry. ~ Kelly Johnson

Harry was an unforgettable and much loved friend and business partner. We have so many great (and hilarious) memories of times together. We will miss him immeasurably. Harry will live on in his many entertaining and enlightening writings. Rest well, old friend...
Our heartfelt condolences to Di and Harry's family.

Harry and I were close friends since childhood and he will be greatly missed. He was a great friend. No one had a better sense of humor than Harry! I will treasure the time we had together and will always have the memories. My condolences go out to his loving wife and family.

There are many of us who never met Harry in person who will deeply miss him. He was a legend in our radio/communications hobby.

Our deepest condolences to Di and his family and friends.
