I did not know Mr. Hewitt, but I saw his Airborne glider patch and read the obituary.
He truly was among those of the greatest generation and his military service was vital to the survival of many countries, including our own. His continued service, as a police officer, served to make our communities a safer place, as well.
As a former paratrooper (101st), and a retired law enforcement officer, I just wanted to extend my sympathy to his family and to let you know his loss is...
