I am grateful for the many years that Harry was my office neighbor in the Quadrangle. He was always very cordial and helpful and I greatly admired his very friendly, positive demeanor and his great skill as a professional.

My sympathy and condolences in the loss of Harry Hoover -- known for a long time and appreciated as an architect and years as a member of the Wesleyan Fellowship Class of Highland Park United Methodist Church.

My late father, Jack Patillo, was a Rice alum and friend of Harry's. I had the pleasure of attending some of the Rice parties hosted by Harry and Emily, and I am sorry for your loss.

I am thnkful for Harry's great partnership in marriage with my sister, Emily. He was a creative man in his work, marriage, and recreational actiities.

I have some sweet memories of Uncle Harry. I am thankful for those. Much love to all my cousins and prayers of comfort.
