Not sure what to say?

May GOD rest his soul. I saw Joey race over the years and always enjoyed his talent and drive.

I can not beleave that Joey is gone. I met him at the old Carlisle Kart track in about 1974. His Dad Joe and I hit it off right a way. Joe had Joey and his younger son Tim at the track every week and we all got to be great freinds. We began going to kart races togather untill Joey moved up to the Super Sportsmans. Our Prayers are with Joey's Family that with Gods help they can be strong thru this very hard time. Joey will always be on our minds and in our hearts.

Sherry and family, Joey was a great person. He always had a smile and kind word to whoever he was talking to. My prayers and thoughts go out to you all. Its gonna be tough but I know that you all are strong, keep the chin up it will get easier with time.

Theres a point in your life when you realized you've lost your way. When you look in the mirror and no longer recognize the person looking back. At 14 years old I lost myself. I no longer knew which road was right for me. That same year I was introduced to this man that was changing my moms life for the better. Over the last 8 years I've learned many lessons from that man that I've come to call Dad. He saved my family from tragedy. He pulled us into his hearts and we formed an unbreakable...

Joey's enthusiasm for everything he did, his love for mankind, and his infectious smile was a genuine reflection of the joy within his soul. His many talents were truly a gift to humanity.
"This day is holy to our Lord; and do not be grieved, for the joy of the Lord is your strength" Nehemiah 8:10

Had the pleasure of seeing Joey race many times in central PA when I was a kid. Also got to meet him in the pits and always found him to be a very nice and friendly person. My condolences go out to his friends and family. Rest in peace 2k.

To Sherri my dear friend & family,
You and Joey shared a lot together. Now you still have the memories to share and he will always be in your heart.
God bless!

Feeling the loss of many... Feeling the loss of a friend... The road of life was not always kind, but the journey was definately exciting... You gave us so much, and took so little... We celebrate your life as you pull into victory lane one last time... Always a Friend... Gary Rutz (Mechanicsburg, PA)
