Mr. Harry Eugene “Gene” Linton, 85, of Frederick, died peacefully on Friday, April 3, 2020, at Pleasant View Nursing Home. He was the husband of Anna Millicent Strine Linton for over 65 years who died February 25, 2013. Together they owned and operated Linton Cabinet Shop for over 35 years....

I wish I could have attended his memorial and I grieve with the family for the loss of such a kind man.
He was enormous help to me as I started in woodworking, donating his time to my teaching and asking nothing in return. And, of course, he was a master at his craft. He will be missed. Bless his family.

John, We are so sorry to read of your father's passing. He was quite a character--always with his cigar and dog! We have two pieces of furniture he made, so he will be a lasting memory in our home.

Mary and family, I am so sorry to hear of your dad's passing. My heart also aches for you that you are not able to grieve properly during this COVID-19 crisis. But know that you have a lot of hugs coming your way virtually. It sounds like your dad had quite an eventful life with his service years, cabinet making, and raising a family.
