Not sure what to say?

Harry was and still is one of the most interesting people I ever knew. He was so unique and at the same time a Texan. I loved to listen to him as he told me stories about his life. I would like to have been there with him in his days as "Harry the Hare" or the the Capitol Birthday Party or the fine work he did at the Coordinating Board and developing the Scholarship Fund. My favorite story is I was with Harry to see Willie Nelson (during his days at the Coordinating Board) at a small venue...

I will miss "The Hare" very much and always remember him as the kind, intelligent, fun loving, interesting and talented person I knew and loved. You will be missed and remembered Harry George Montgomery! Cale and Jan, my prayers and thoughts are with you both.

My favorite Winedale memory will always be the sound of you and Danny singing and playing for us, silhouetted against the firelight in the wee hours of that cold night. Good night, sweet prince, and flights of angels sing thee to thy rest.

Harry was one fine man went to high school with him and he was a fine basketball player.my condolences to Jan and his family

Harry, it's always hard to say goodbye, but we will meet again. I keep thinking back to high school and your amazing wit. You were never at a loss for words, and those words were always spot on. Your journey is over, and the race is won.

Harry, your quick wit and brilliant mind will be remembered by all who knew you. RIP, my friend.

Harry, even though we were classmates, I didn't really know you. I knew who you were of course. Facebook has helped our class get together like we never did in school. I wish I could've known you like the others did. I enjoyed the many pictures you posted. RIP and sing with the Angels!!

Have not seen or talked to Harry since high school, other than a few times on FaceBook. I knew Harry from many school activities! He was, then, as now, a great person to know and a true and loyal friend, He will be greatly missed by many people. RIP Harry

Harry, my friend, you will be missed by so many. My thoughts and prayers are with your family in your passing.
