Not sure what to say?

A brilliant director and teacher who brought beautiful music into the lives of students and audiences alike.

Mr. Mulder was a great inspiration to me when I sang in the THS chorus (1956-1959) and a community chorus he invited me to join. I later studied to be a solo singer and have performed and taught voice until now. He told us high school students that whatever else was going on in our lives when we grew up, we would always have music to give us meaning and joy, and that has definitely been true for me. He was a wonderful person and teacher.

Mulder Legacy Lives on in Hilton Head Shore Notes

Thank you Mr. Mulder for the gift of vocal music (TCHS Class of 1959). The high school choir, special group, community chorus, First Pres. Senior choir (and junior choir with Mrs. Mulder) were a great foundation for singing throughout my life. Where ever we moved, I always had a choir or singing group to enjoy. My deepest sympathy to Mrs. Mulder and the Mulder family.

There aren't enough words nor the manner in which to speak them to convey how much this man, Harry "Bud" Mulder meant to my life. I was on an entirely different track in school when I came upon him through my parents and church and his influence completely changed my life. He demanded much from all of his students and birthed a product of excellence in their lives. May God truly bless this man, his wonderful wife "Dusty" and all the younger Mulders that still carry his message.

I will always love you Mr. Mulder and thank you for the years!!! Class of 1983, the last largest graduating class from Trenton Central High School.

Bud was my wonderful father in law and a a wonderful grandfather to my children: Johanna, John and Connor. God bless you Bud. We love you!

For hundreds and hundreds of TCHS students, church choir and chorus members, Harry Mulder was the musician and teacher of a lifetime. He leaves the richest of legacies to all of us - a lifetime of sharing his extraordinary talents, time, kindness, and encouragement.
Bud - your presence in my life was one of my greatest blessings. I know your life on earth is now honored in God's kingdom.

Mr. Mulder helped me so much musically. He inspired me. He will be missed. I pray that God will continue to bless his wife Martha (Dusty) and family.
