My deepest condolences at the loss of Harry, Jr. I admired his energy watching him jog down Mason Street and at the Y. He was a fine man.

Pat and I remember Harry with great respect and love of his integrity, friendship and abiding loyalties. As a fellow Free Mason and a former client I fully appreciate and will long remember his strong counsel and ability to "keep his head when all about him were losing theirs and blaming" others. Harry Peden was my guardian in the 1950s. He was tender and generous and he could rough you up like a wire brush with just a glance if he thought you needed it.
Harry was a smart, tough, and decent stand-up guy. He was also a man of faith and loyalty. He and my father were great friends. They ushered at the First Presbyterian Church together for decades.
