Harry Lee Redding

Harry Redding was one of the key designers at Pontiac Engineering when I first worked for Pontiac in the summer of 1957. He was a dynamic force in the design room and could complete a design with dazzling speed. He was very confident and had the skill and ability to back it up. I especially recall how upbeat he always seemed to be and how he had such a great sense of humor. Harry Redding was a much respected member of GM's Pontiac engineering team, responsible for creating a family of performance vehicles that are now collected and cherished by automotive enthusiasts around the world.
