I have fond memories of operating on Doc's D&RGW railroad in the basement of his house and Doc operating on my Sierra Central RR in Gahanna, when I lived in Ohio. Doc was a true gentleman, a great friend and a superb model railroader. My deepest sympathies to his family.

Butch and Stephen,.. My deepest condolences to you for your loss. He was a great man with too many good qualities to try to list. But, two words that come to mind, for me, are 'kind and gentle.' I recall him examining my son, when he was very little. His manner and oatience, put my little one at ease. (My son is now 39).
