Not sure what to say?

I met Mr. Shaw many years ago as he took me on a tour of land that he had some concerns with.

He was a soft spoken & passionate person, I always enjoyed talking to him. He will be missed by our city.

To the family I say Keep Looking Up.

Dear Claire: I was saddened to learn of Harry's passing, and so I offer my condolences to you and all yours and his family. I wish I could attend Harry's service but I do not drive any great distance any more, and Fayetteville is more than a hundred miles from Winston-Salem. But I will be thinking of you all especially during the service.

With love,
John Stewart, Sr

I met Harry Shaw only once, but I've never forgotten it. It was at the dinner with the Board of Trustees of FTCC on the evening of graduation in 2005. I am a faculty member, and of course knew no one on the Board, but he made me feel so welcome at that dinner when he found out I am from Scotland. A grand man who made a difference.

Harry was my first boss in the mortgage industry. I worked directly for him at Home Federal Savings and Loan from 1977-1980. When I left, he told me he felt like he was losing a daughter. I loved him then and I have loved him my entire life. Harry made the world a better place and he certainly went over and above to help Fayetteville become the beautiful southern town it now is. I will miss you forever, Harry.❤

My thoughts and prayers are with your family during this difficult time. May the promise in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 comfort your family.

Harry Shaw I enjoyed working with you for so many years. You were the best. You were a true Southern gentleman and helped soooo many people. You were such a vital part of downtown Fayetteville and we will miss you so much. I want to express my sincere prayers to your family Diane Dorman
