Not sure what to say?

Hi Pops-

Been sitting here thinking about you. Just wanted to let you know Pat is doing well-Jean and I have been looking in on her. Her and Aunt Shirley have been having such a great time together. We all miss you-till we meet again.

Your Son-In-Law

Your son in law

I know you're in a better place,
But I wish that I could see your face,
I know you're where you need to be
Even though it's not here with me

I miss you
I miss your smile
And I still shed a tear
Every once in a while
And even though it's different now
You're still here somehow
My heart won't let you go
And I need you to know
I miss you.

It doesnt feel like its been almost 5 months, thats for sure. Not a day goes by granpa, that i dont think of you. My heart grows heavier as the days pass by. I went to the house about a month ago for the first time since you've been gone and it made me sad, i sat in your chair and although you weren't there, i could feel you around me.
I miss you more and more everyday- we all do.
I love you and i hope you're taking care of the ladies up there, don't you dare have to much fun ;)

Merry Christmas, Grandpa. It is hard today to not see you with Grandma. But as a family we will remember you, hearing stories from Mom, Cindy, and Harry about their childhood Christmas' and now-when you would have breakfast with the Shufelts and Christmas night with the Foleys and the Carlinos. Wish you here-but till I see you again, I love you very much...we all do!

Pat, I had no idea until receiving your Christmas card. I am so sorry to have missed supporting you and the family and remembering Harry at that time. Keep the memories in your heart and know that you are in Howie's and my prayers. Love, Karen

We attach ourselves so strongly to people that when they're gone, a part of us is gone too. I'm going to miss sitting on the couch with you and hearing you ask "how are you doing, little one?" I'll miss you tickling my feet and I'll miss you calling me on my birthday and always asking if I felt any older. I miss you alot, Grandpa-we all do. We'll always think of you and smile and be happy for the time we had with you. Till I see you again, I love you.

Pat,

So sorry to hear about Harry. I know the last couple of years were tough going. The bingo games up in Heaven just got a "GOOD" player. Harry was a great guy, I was honored to have gotten to know both you and him better on our trips to Foxwood. If you should ever need anything, please feel free to call me.

Dear Mrs Shufelt and family,

While I had only the short time that you were in the ER to get to know you I am thankful for that time. It is families like yours that give me hope for this nation and humanity in general. The love and support that you have for one another is an encouragement for me. It was the way we were once and the way we should always be. You and your husband did a great job in raising your family and it is reflected through your children and grandchildren. God...
