Still missing you my friend. You were truly one of a kind.

I just found out about Steven. I can hardly write. I saw him a few months ago (passing through Gateway, Newark) and we were to keep in touch. I am deeply saddened and hurt. My condolences to the family. I will miss Steven greatly.

I have know Steve for many years and recently our paths crossed again.

On a beautiful Sunday in June, Steve and I noticed each other standing on the same New York City block! What a pleasant surprise!

We hugged, smiled, and accounted about memorable experiences.

I wish to express my condolences at this very sad time and hope the family will receive the comfort and strength needed to bear this immense loss.

My utmost, deepest sympathy to the Spears family. I dated Steve years ago and will always recall his fun loving, free spirited approach to life, with no apologies. We all have great memories of Steve, his smile, joy in his step, and the dance to his own drum...that will remain with us forever.

I am still in shock just hearing the news today. Steven was one of my best freinds for over 20 years and I loved him even though we werent in touch much. My prayers are with you!
