To Honor the Memory of
Mr. Harry M. Straub
Mr. Harry M. Straub, age 75, of Dupont, Indiana, entered this life on February 18, 1930, in Dupont, Indiana, the son of Harry Jasper & Nora May Boardman Straub. He was raised in Dupont and resided there all of his life. He was a 1948, graduate of Dupont High School. He was inducted into the United States Army on March 6, 1951, rising to the rank of Private 2(T), serving in the Army Rail Transportation Company, during the Korean War, He was honorably discharged on March 7, 1957, from Camp Carson, Colorado. He was united in marriage to Uldean Dixon on February 19, 1953, in Dupont, Indiana. To this union arrived one son Harry Jasper. From, February 8, 1956 until February 9, 1996, he was employed with the Cummins Engine Company working in the Water Treatment Division. He had also worked for the B & O Railroad for four years, the Madison State Hospital for six years, bus driver, and worked at the General Store in Dupont early in life. He was a member of the Dupont Masonic Lodge, Madison Moose Lodge 765, Jefferson Post 9, and the American Legion. Harry enjoyed trap shooting, fishing, hunting & dancing. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Harry died Saturday, December 31, 2005 at 12:25 am at the Columbus Hospice Inpatient Facility in Columbus, Indiana.

Mr. Straub will be missed by his wife: Uldean Dixon Straub of Dupont, IN; his son: Harry Jasper Straub of Dupont , Indiana; his grandchildren: Jennifer Youngblood & her husband: Brian and Amy Nelson & her husband: Rick;his great-granddaughter: Peyton Nicole; his step great granddaughter: Bethany.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Harry Jasper & Nora May Boardman Straub.
GRAVESIDE CEREMONY
Private Graveside services will be conducted Sunday, May 7, 2006 at 1:00 pm, at the Dupont Cemetery, Dupont, Indiana, full military honors will be conducted by Jefferson Post 9, of the American Legion.
MASONIC SERVICES
Masonic services will be conducted at the graveside by the Dupont Masonic Lodge #419 F & AM.
