Not sure what to say?

To say the least I am stunned and deeply saddened by the news of Harry's death. I will always remember him as a true gentleman and gracious host. During my time of service at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church in Flint, Harry was always a joy to be with and a true light to the community. He will always be in my prayers.

I am echoing so many of the other people who have written here & that is quite a testament to Harry Swartz & his family. His kindness & caring for our family when my father passed away suddenly in early January 1995 helped us in so many ways, it is hard to convey. I'll just take this opportunity to say "thank you" once again. We were deeply saddened to hear of his passing. The community has lost a great contributor. To the Swartz family, please accept the heart felt condolences of the Robert...

We will never forget the kindness and sensitivity shown us by Harry while we were planning the funeral of our sixteen year old daughter. Our hearts go out to the Swartz family.

To the family of Harry Swartz:

Please accept my deepest sympathies.

(My son, Morgan used to work at the funeral home).

You will be sadly missed Harry. Our prayers to your family.

Harry..You touched not only a few people but MANY like in thousands with your kindness and generous soul. We will all miss, but remember you for the longest of time. If only we could have another day or hour with you, Thanks for entering our lives such as you did.

To your Famliy you were there for every one you have serviced our family way back when your father had the funeral home in the brick house in Davison to the one on hill road.you were a class mate of mine when we were in the seventh grade. You never forgot any of us.God be with your family as they go through this very hard time.

sincerly Janet Sanford,Smith, Passmore.you will be so missed

What a loss to the family and the community.Harry was such an outstanding man.He was so helpful when a few of my family members used Swartz for our needs..I told him once "it is not a good sign when we know everyone at Swartz on a first name basis" He just laughed and made us all feel at ease..God Bless you Harry and your entire family.

We offer, to the family, our smpathy during this difficult time.

Mr. Swartz served for many years on the Board of Directors for the Visually Impaired Center, during the eighties. He was very helpful and encouraging to all those who needed assistance, especially myself.

In 1996, he cared for our family when my father passed away. We were shocked by his sudden death but Harry offered warmth and assistance during this difficult time. As we were leaving/closing the first...
