Harry D. Sweely

Mr Sweely was my beloved 4th grade teacher at Rowland Lab School in Shippensburg in the 1960s. He was a great favorite of students. Later, I knew him and his wife as "Harry & Ginny" when I worked at Bosler Library in Carlisle in the 2010s. What a pleasure it was to encounter them again, and regularly! They were terrific library patrons. Lastly, Harry stopped in to visit my mother at Green Ridge Village in 2024. He was mentally sharp and expressed curiosity about an event I planned to attend...

Ginny, Doug, Jill & families, I'm very sorry to hear of Harry's death. I have many fond memories of our times together. Harry was blessed with a wonderful family, many talents,& a great sense of humor! I know he will be missed by many!

What a great guy!!!! I always enjoyed assisting Harry and Ginny with their Lexus vehicle purchases. God Bless
