Dear Karla,
I was so sorry to hear about your Dad--he surely lived a good life and had such a loving family! I just got your message today (Palm Sunday) as my computer has been out of commission for over a week. Please accept my condolences for you and your loved ones. I can't believe it's been 16 years already since my dad died. I was wondering why I was thinking of you so much last week--somehow I knew something was going on with you.

I'm so sorry that I won't be able to see Uncle Harry again when my husband, Tom, and I visit this summer. I remember that he lived a full life and enjoyed a great variety of the works and activities a good life offers. Tom would have loved discussing gardening with him. Our prayers are with you, Aunt Jo. I know your faith will help you through this difficult loss.

I'm sorry to hear about Uncle Harry's death. I know we were all blessed for having him a part of our lives for so many years. I believe, like you, that he is now in heaven and praying for all of us. Isn't it wonderful that Our Lord and Blessed Mother gave him the special privilege of ending his earthly life on the Feast of the Annunciation? I will send a Mass card and keep everyone in my prayers.
