It's almost been a year...the pain is still in my heart. Life may go on but u will never be forgotten. U were family by choice...to me, my father, my mother, my brother, my children & a few of my close friends. My prayers are w/ ur family & friends because I know u are with God. May we all find forgiveness somehow to help heal us but more importantly...never forget the man who would give the shirt off his back for anyone who needed & was special to so so many in many different ways.

My heart breaks for the entire Vaughn family. We all grew up together and Harry was everyone's big brother, always looking out for us younger kids.
You all are a strong family, so loving and kind.
I'll always remember that huge smile on his face and all his kind words.
Miss Nellie opened her arms wide and welcomed her eldest son into heaven.
Prayers to Donna, Tammy, Gregory and the entire family.

Harry taught us alot. Things that can't be forgotten. Going from childhood friend of my father, to my friend as a young teen in this neighborhood. Now, in my mid-30's, I will pass the same stories of kindness to my children. Harry taught everyone to ignore race, social class and anything else that can stop humans from being human.
I'll miss arguing with you the most. Everyone will miss something special about you, but we all know you won't be forgotten. You are a legend.
