Vickman Family,
I was sad to hear about Mr. Vickman passing away. My father, John DeFranco, worked in his own produce business for many years and took my siblings and I to Vickmans most Saturdays. Every birthday in the DeFranco house was celebrated with one of Vickmans famouse rum cakes. Harry was always kind to us and always greeted my father with a friendly "Hello".

Dominic DeFranco [son of John & Gilda DeFranco]

Dear Babs,

I am so sorry to learn about Harry's passing. I am pleased that we had a chance to know both of you a little. I fondly remember Harry showing us his orchids and a wonderful dinner we shared together.

As a Vickman's Restaurant ( a legend in downtown LA!) customer for years with a nodding acquaintance with Harry & Babs, aware of the remarkable One Generation that they worked hard to sustain, and a neighbor for many years in Colfax Meadows (Studio City), we recognize Harry as one of the irreplaceable "good guys." Our condolences to Babs and the family.
