Dear Jimmy and Dilys: I learnt of the awful news of Harry's passing from Dr. Robert Newton when we recently met at a conference in Cairo. Harry is irreplaceable and the void he left is huge. I wanted to let you know that I am deeply sorry for this loss. I pray that you and Dilys will be granted courage and fortitude to bear the loss.

Jimmy and Dilys,
Mike Moore just passed the awful news about Harry to me and I wanted to let you know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I have very fond memories of Harry as a child in Uganda, who I knew as a wonderful, smart, precocious and charming boy...who clearly became a wonderful man on the path to a great future. My deepest condolences at this awful time.

Dear Jimmy and Dilys, I was very shocked to hear about Harry's tragic accident. I will always remember that cheerful boy running around Entebbe all those years ago. I can't even begin to imagine how difficult this time must be for you both. My deepest condolences.

Dear Jimmy and Dilys,
I just learned about Harry's sudden death, and I am so sorry to hear it. For me Harry will always be about 7 years old, a bit wary of sleeping in a strange place in the dark at Malham, but even then with such an engaging personality and sense of humor he dominated the dining room even among the big personalities of the MSc PHDC course! My heartfelt condolences to you both in this unimaginable loss.
