I've known Harry since 7th grade and all through high school. He was always so gentle and kind. He made Steubenville proud and he will be missed so much. My love and care for his beautiful family.

As a young boy in small town Nebraska "Light Horse Harry", as Lyle Bremser called him, was my hero. I painted a red 31 on the helmet I wore for our epic vacant lot battles.

My first memories of college football centered around this University of Nebraska running back, Harry Wilson. Guy brought a lot of excitement to a rural kid and got me interested in football. A guy named Lyle Bremser ?? had a way of pronouncing names that added to the broadcast . Harry is etched in our minds here in Eastern Nebraska. Condolences to the Wilson family - the Wilsons are always family with us in Nebraska.

I was a high school kid in Lincoln when "Lighthorse Harry" lit up the Big Eight. What a talent! Thank you, you remarkable guy, for giving our State so much joy and pride. i'll remember you.

As a boy growing up in Omaha Nebraska in the 1960s and a Husker football fan, Light Horse was an idol of mine. I used to listen to radio broadcasts of Nebraska football and thrill to "the Stuebenville Senior's" fantastic exploits on the gridiron in the 1966 season. Now in my seventies, I've never forgotten the nickname Light Horse or the athlete who bore it.

I didn't know Harry, I was stationed at Lincoln Air Force Base in Lincoln from Feb. 1962-Feb. 1965. Got to see Harry play for Coach Bob Devaney. I loved his style and toughness when he played. After I was discharged I stayed in Nebraska and went back to college. Never missed a home game.
My sympathy to Harry's family, I bet he and Coach Devaney are already telling stories about those years together!
Take care Harry I'll see you down the road!
