WISNER, Harry E. - Of Flint, age 83, died Monday, June 2, 2008 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. Funeral service will be held 11AM Thursday, June 5, 2008 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Doug Klein, officiating. Burial at Flint Memorial Park with a military graveside service under the auspices of the Marine Corps League Flint Detachment #155 Honor Guard. Visitation 2-8PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Harry was born in Greenville, Michigan on November 30, 1924. He married Phyllis Wright in Angola, Indiana on October 22, 1948. Harry served in the United States Navy and was employed by General Motors Buick and a member of the UAW Local #599. Surviving are daughters, Donna Fraiser of Grand Blanc, Jean and husband Clyde Roberts of Flint, Linda Ptacek of Flint, Carol Drake of Flint, Sandy and husband Dale Rock of Millington; grandchildren, Dawn and husband William Fields of Grand Rapids, Julie Roberts of Mount Morris, Shelly and husband Brian Holderbaum of Bancroft, Danyel Ptacek of Flint, Ronda Drake of Flint, Michael Drake of Flint, Bryan Rock of Flint, Bradley and wife Karen Rock of Virginia; 9 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Richard Wright of Flint; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Audrey and Monte Stuart of Indiana; best friend and fishing buddy, Jerry Ammerman of Swartz Creek. So sorry to hear about Harry's death, I learned too late to make it to the funeral home, but my prayers are with you. I know if there's fishing in heaven, Jim and Harry are catching the big ones. Tom is in Canada fishing now, so I know he'll be sorry to have missed Harry's funeral. I hope he caught a big walleye for him. Sending our love and sympathy to Danyel, Linda and all the family
