Not sure what to say?

I met Harvey while growing up in Burlingame but he was older. I schooled with the twins, Ron and Jim. About 10 years younger or so. I lived a few blocks away on SW 9th with my brother Ken, now dead, and was raised by my grandparents. The twins were always the best of everything. Grades, accomplishments, sports. I think they went on to become noteworthy doctors or something like that. Quite impressive. God bless you both and your older brothers Jeff and Harvey??? Memories fade. I...

On behalf of my classmates in the Yale Class of 1964, I extend condolences to Harvey’s family and friends. Harvey had many friends in our Class and will be missed. We mourn his passing and will remember him on our Class Website, in the March-April 2021 issue of Yale Alumni Magazine, and at a memorial service on campus during our 60th reunion in May 2024.

Ever since I've understood the inherent subjectivity in evaluating what someone writes. Second was when I returned...

Group of 10 Memorial Trees

I was Harvey's secretary for almost 10 years when we worked at Berlack, Israels back in the 1990's. Harvey was an amazing tax lawyer and friend. I've never had another boss like him. He had such a great sense of humor and would make all of us laugh all the time (unlike so many of the other "serious" lawyers). He was so proud of Ellen and her antique shop, and his boys, Alex and David. I know he will be sorely missed by all, but I hope knowing his life touched so many and brought people...

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Harvey and I were more or less contemporaries with similar CVS. As tax lawyers, our paths crossed many times in deals and CLEs. He was not only a skilled professional but a nice guy as well. Whether we were on the same side or opposite, working with him was always a pleasure.

Harvey was brilliant, kind, energetic, generous, thorough, honest and honorable, a great mentor, and everything else that makes a first-rate tax lawyer. A true and loyal friend, he will be sorely missed. May he rest in peace.
