As an old classmate of Harvey's, I would like to offer my condolences to his family and friends. He was likeable and very friendly to all who knew him. He seemded to be active in eveything. High school was so "beautiful" those days. We graduated from Grainger High School in 1940. Of course, I hadn't seen him in many years, but I was still sorry to hear of his death. I often wonder how many of us are left. I will be 85 in December and live in Chicago. Again my sympathy to all. Robert...

I was blessed to live next to Harvey & Senora during the majority of my childhood. Harvey was always prepared with a joke and a friendly smile whenever you saw him. As I have moved my family to several different states I have always hoped that I would once again have neighbors just like the Carrows. I honestly feel that I have lost a family member. My deepest sympathies for your loss, and please know that you are in my prayers.

At the time he drove an old car with over 150,000 miles on it and said he had NEVER changed the oil in it....only added a quart every now and then! I think of him everytime I get my oil changed..wondering if I am wasting my money! He was loved and admired by all those whose lives he touched. I am...

I had the honor of working with Harvey 22 years ago while he consulted for MBM Corporation in Rocky Mount. Deepest condolences from all of us who had the privilage of working with such an honest, knowledgeable man for too short a period of time. He left an impression on those he worked with here that will never be forgotten.
