My sympathies for Harvey's family. I served in the USAF with Harvey in 1953-1954 at an isolated radar station along the bearing sea. His humor and disposition are unforgettable.

Harvey you will always be remembered for your sense of humor always joking. We did a toast to you Harvey Thanksgiving day at Dave and Nolas with the Rochester family that were there, Scott and Eddie did one too. You will be missed by all that knew you. Love you

So various members of Harvey's Rochester family got together at various thanksgiving dinner locations here and also Cleveland to raise a glass in his honor. We shared stories of fond memories. He was a loving and caring guy . There was always a hug and a joke to tell. He loved his family and enjoyed getting together at various visits . We will miss this great guy. Sorry to hear miss you uncle Harvey

I taught across the hall from Harvey many years ago in the basement of Blodgett. He was a great guy. Every week, he and his students made a salad bar for staff to buy nice, big, chef salads from. With the money they raised, Harvey took the kids to Disney World and other field trips. I saw Harvey at Menorah Park two years ago when visiting my mother, who was there for 3 months before she passed. I had a nice little conversation with him, although he no longer remembered me.
