Not sure what to say?

Had Mr Flatt as Civics teacher at Lakeland Senior High School. Many many years ago in the late 1950´s. He wasnt much older than his students at that time and we all admired his teaching ability. Sorry to see his obit. My condolences to his family. Carolyn Varner Bayhan (Class of 1960)

You know teachers are special when they leave a lasting impression almost 25 yrs later. Mr. Flatts class was always fun and interesting. I can still recognize a Monet painting or a symphany by Mozart thanks to Mr. Flatt. So sorry for your loss. Rest in peace Mr. Flatt. Kim (Bradt)Green, Albrightsville, Pa.

Mr. Flatt made the arts come alive to me.

My husband and i would like to send our greatest sympathy to the family of Mr.Flatt, which we only knew for a short while he was a great friend and inspired everyone he met.He will be missed deeply.

Mr.Flatt was my father inlaw as well as a friend and i will always cherish the talks and moments we had together. He will be missed ever so much by me and his four grandchildren, which adored him so much.

I had Mr. Flatt in for world history. I loved his stories and the classical music he always played as we read. He was so interesting and was my favorite HS teacher. My senior year I signed on as his teacher aide for one period. Thanks Mr. Flatt, you are remembered fondly.

I, like others in the guest book, had Mr. Flatt for Humanities. Mr. Flatt had a passion for the arts and for sharing that beauty with his students. His was my most memorable class from LHS. He was an exceptional educator. My prayers are for his family and friends.

Steve Nichols, LHS 76
