Not sure what to say?

I knew Harvey at the Westwood store during the mid-fifties while an undergrad at UCLA. Harvey was the gregarious, likeable proprietor of Flax. Any visit to Flax involved a conversation of warmth and humor. The store was well-placed, close to Will Wright's ice cream parlor. You could easily park on the street. Notably, Harvey was behind the F logo. Harvey was a sophisticated, warm person who brightened a lot of lives. He is fondly remembered.

Dear Harvey, I was thinking about Judy and You. Looked You up, and It's 10 Years... TODAY, Oct. 4, that You Passed. You were and still are... Something. Judy and You were so kind to let me park my Honda behind Your store...ALL Those Years. A Grateful Friend, Pat

HARVEY, HIRED ME TO WORK AT HIS STORE, BUT I MET HARVEY BEFORE THAT AS A CLIENT OF HIS, WE WOULD TALK AND AT TIMES WE WOULD MEET FOR BREAKFAST AT THE VA CAFETERIA ON WILSHIRE BLVD, I TRULY LIKED HARVEY AND ADMIRED HIM, FROM 1983 TO THE PRESENT I STILL ENJOY REMEMBERING OUR CONVERSATIONS AS FRIENDS. TO HARVEY AND FAMILY, ART NUNEZ 2016

Harvey is the true spirit of the Flax
family, always there with kind and encouraging words.
Leonard Flax

As his much younger cousin I always had a crush on him---so tall and handsome and smiling!

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

I have so many memories of Harvey that make me smile. I love you all.
Your friend,
Joyce Michaelson
