An American original! I have been overseas for the last 1 1/2 years, and it is with profound sadness that I am now hearing of Harvey's passing. Harvey has been a part of my life since 1986, and will always remain in my heart. My love, thoughts, and condolences to Jessica the Ucla girl! and the rest of the Greenfield family!

It's been over a month and I still cannot grasp the idea that Harvey is not with us. From 'flower girl' to that "weird person living in Iowa", the impact he has had on my life has been tremendous. His unbounded exuberance to live life the HG way, I am sure, will continue wherever he is right now.

I am saddened by his passing as he lived fully and never wasted...

To Steven,
Your dad and I had a link as he and my wife attended James Madison High School together and they used to chat about Madison at toy industry events. He and I chatted when we occasionally bumped into each other...like the time he limoed me from the Javits to the Toy Building. A year ago I needed his input about a law suit between two plush companies. He not only gave me the right information but invited me to call him anytime if I needed more info. He also told me how...
