Harvey Lee Hamilton

Harvey Lee Hamilton, age 85, went to be with Jesus on Saturday, December 05, 2009 at Carolinas Medical Center. A native of Gaston County, he was a son of Roy and Fama Welch Hamilton. He was a WWII Army Veteran and an avid fisherman. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM Monday at Greenwood Cemetery, Belmont. He is survived by his sons and daughter in law, David Hamilton and Mark and Dayna Hamilton of Belmont, sisters, Hattie Elise Stowe, Minnie Opal Ament, Faye Marie Bean and Patty Doris Grindstaff, all of Belmont, and two granddaughters, Monica Renee Spann and Kayla Marie Journey.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ann Mae Chapman Hamilton, sons, Harvey Alexander Hamilton and Dale Alexander Hamilton, daughter, Debbie H. Guthrie, brothers, James Odell Hamilton, John Robert Hamilton and Boyce Elmer Hamilton and two sisters, Wilma Ruth Hamilton and Betty Jean H. Davis.
