Pops & I -- Thanksgiving 2008

Dear Pops,
I miss you more than anything. You were the smartest and most amazing man I've ever met, and I had the pleasure of being your first granddaughter and living here in Florida with you and seeing you all of the time. I can't thank my parents enough for moving here so Nikki and I could spend so much time with you (and Grandma). It's still such a shock that you won't be here to watch me graduate in May, that I can't call you on the phone after I get engaged, and that you won't be...

Abraham Lincoln said, "No man stands so tall as when he stoops to help a child." That was Harvey. And my son, not yet six who knew him as "Pops," remembers him fondly for it, as will I. His memory teaches us what is most important: We remember our past, we plant for tomorrow, we live for today. Thank you Harvey.

Uncle Harvey (by marriage)was my all-time favorite uncle. I was so blessed to know him (and Aunt Bea) and have shared in so many wonderful family simchas with him. His loss is great and what he shared with the world was amazing! He was an explorer to the end! My condolences go out to the whole family. With Love, Sari

Harvey was a wonderful guy who showed his true colors on the golf course. Very even tempered and self effacing, he rarely showed anger, toward his golf game or others. Always positive and humorous, I heard more Jewish jokes from him than anyone. My heartfelt condolences to his family. They have lost an incredible patriarch.

Uncle Harvey was a very loved man. He will be missed every day.
